Hope and Cooper Spence's love story is not your typical, "Boy Meets Girl" story. It is special and to be honest, it is pretty comical.
Before I share how they "met", I want to share a little about who they are as people. Both of them come from families that I admire so very much. I first met Cooper's mom and sister at bible study years ago. Since then, they have became like family. Cooper and his family have prayed for my daughter Addalyn, and I am forever grateful to their faith and genuine love for people. Through church, I also had the opportunity to meet Hope's sweet family. They are a strong, caring family and I pray that I can reflect the love of Jesus like they do. So when Hope and Cooper decided to join families and get married, and asked me to document this time in their lives, to say that I was honored would be an understatement.
I went out to their family's land for Hope's Bridal Session. She incorporated some very special little girls into her photo shoot.
The forecast was calling for nothing but rain on this May day. Hope and Cooper's family and friends moved their Wedding to the barn located at the property of their Wedding location. It turned out to be such a beautiful setting.
I love the fact that both of these families cover one another with prayer. And throughout this blog, you see lots of prayer! Hope's Bridesmaids prayed with her before it was time for her to walk down the isle, as did Cooper and his best man.
Cooper's face when he saw his bride walking down the isle to him was pretty priceless!
The way Hope shares the way she and Cooper met makes me laugh a little...
"We grew up together at church, and the funny thing is we
hated one another. We fought all the time. Our families are really
close so we would vacation with them, and when my parents were away on
trips I would spend weeks at their home. God knew and He planted the
seed, obviously. One day at church we literally locked eyes and that was it; it
sounds like out of a movie but it was a God thing!."
The ceremony was tons of fun, full of dancing and lots of laughs!
And a few happy tears, too :)
Hope and Cooper, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day! I am confident God will continue to pour out his blessings on your relationship, and I can not wait to see where life takes you!
